    Trebianco di S. Lucia

    Castello dei Rampollas Trebianco är ett så kallat naturligt vin (läs mer nedan) som framställs enligt familjens filosofi om minimal inblandning i vinodling och vinframställning. Detta vita vin kommer från bara 2 ha stort fält och har tillverkats sedan 1982, men mestadels för privat bruk. Alla druvor skördas naturligtvis för hand, och vinet jäser i terrakottaamforor (precis som i antiken). Vinet har en vacker gul färg, en lite kryddig bukett med en aning av äpple och citrus, en relativt fyllig smak som slutar med fin fruktintensitet.

    An amber-orange color with aromas of bergamot, dried orange, clove, star anise, chamomile and seashell. It’s medium-bodied with bright acidity and a fine tannin structure. Savory, spicy and flavorful. Very well done. No sulfites added. Unfiltered.

    The 2020 Trebianco di Santa Lucia is a blend of Trebbiano, Chardonnay, Traminer, Sauvignon Blanc and Malvasia done in amphora. Readers will find an orange wine of notable structure, power and intensity. Tangerine oil, chamomile, hazelnut and spice add complexity. Stylistically, the Trebianco is pretty eccentric compared to most of the reds, especially the flagships.
