Made from two-thirds Chaillots to one-third Lavières. 10% whole bunch. A full purple. The nose is a little less expressive than the Vosne Romanée but very typical of the appellation, plums and red berries together. There is a good depth of fruit behind, deepening further back on the palate, then a fresh finish with lively tannins and good acidity.

(from a .20 ha parcel in Les Chaliots and another .11 ha parcel in Aux Lavières). Subtle but not imperceptible wood sets off earthier yet still nicely spicy aromas of various dark berries and plenty of earth. There is again good vibrancy to the vibrant and textured medium weight flavors that exhibit solid length on the balanced finale where a touch of herbal tea character slowly emerges

The 2021 Nuits-Saint-Georges Village exhibits notes of sweet berries, cherries, loamy soil and raw cocoa, followed by a medium-bodied, supple and lively palate that's soft and charming, without any hint of stereotypical Nuits asperity.
